Quality/pedigree of the current squad aside, we’re so obviously lacking vocal leaders on the pitch. Robins can only do so much with what he’s got, this is squarely on the players. Pearson red incoming.

Not sure if it’s by design or necessity but, Phillips aside, has Robins decided to focus on building a side/culture around players we actually own rather than the loans?

Burger and Jun-Ho probably have the highest potential ceiling in the squad. Yes, form has been lacking, but unless we’re getting our money back on Burger and have at least one oven-ready (ie not PL2/u21s) replacement in the bag for a relegation fight, to even think of selling him is fucking nuts.

If that Burger story is true, that’s a disgrace. Yes he underperforms, but to pull the deal from under him is hardly going to foster good relations/trust within the squad. What a fucking circus.
