Finished episode 2 and man this is so fucking good. The kids are a delight to watch and the effects are actually great and it's paced better and it's fun and it's funny and it feels like the book and it's serious and it has stakes and it's EVERYTHING. they loved working on this and you can feel it
Percy Jackson season 2 is SO good so far. The end credit sequence is beautiful. They're making real television again folks

Finished episode 2 and man this is so fucking good. The kids are a delight to watch and the effects are actually great and it's paced better and it's fun and it's funny and it feels like the book and it's serious and it has stakes and it's EVERYTHING. they loved working on this and you can feel it

yeah season 1 is just an excellent adaptation. not perfect but it is so obvious how much love there was in every aspect. great performances and casting and it brings it all to life in a way that manages to resonate with my decades old perceptions of the books. I cannot WAIT for season 2
rewatching Percy Jackson season 1 (prepping for season 2!!) and it's absurd how good the casting is. Virginia Kull IS Sally Jackson. Aryan Simhadri IS Grover. Literally everything is exactly how I always imagined it and that is magical to me

It's been a few years and I'm big enough to admit that lin manuel miranda is excellently cast as hermes. making him a fun uncle/deadbeat type is actually perfect. sorry everyone this show just keeps winning

It's been a few years and I'm big enough to admit that lin manuel miranda is excellently cast as hermes. making him a fun uncle/deadbeat type is actually perfect. sorry everyone this show just keeps winning
Wicked part 2 was funny. The original songs were awful but worked extremely well to help the narrative along and it was honestly refreshing. The animals all looked really good and there were a lot of sets and costumes and great production choices, all held back by sub-par directing
