Always was, always will be, Aboriginal land.
We welcome the leadership of the 80+ countries signing onto the proposal for a global roadmap to phase out fossil fuels at COP30.

We urge the Albanese government to back it fully.

And he still can't say when they will actually release the full details of their energy policy.
Dan Tehan on RN saying that governments will pay to keep existing ageing coal fired power stations open, as well as doing lots more gas drilling. While claiming 'the market will dictate'. Lots of talk of 'base load', misunderstanding modern energy systems.

What a mess.

Watch the Liberals celebrate abandoning communities to worsening climate disasters.

We see you. We won’t forget.
Anyone remember that famous image of Liberal MPs celebrating the passage of the carbon tax repeal bill? 2014.

Today's pre meeting 'power walk' by the conservatives had the same vibes.

Extreme weather is already costing Australians BILLIONS - and without action, it will only get worse. 📈

That's why it’s time to make big polluters pay.

Inaction on climate is costing our communities thousands in skyrocketing insurance costs, repair bills and disaster recovery.

Climate impacts will impact all Australians - but our stories are powerful, and our stories can drive real policy change.

She may be on leave, but Jo couldn’t stay quiet on our 2035 climate targets.

Yr 12 students are setting the bar high for their exams right now. Why can’t our govt set the bar high for their future?

At last week's hearing on the National Climate Risk Assessment, our CEO Serena Joyner explained: fossil fuel corporations rake in record profits, while we're left to pay for the climate damage they cause.

It's time they paid their fair share.

Australia’s 2035 target of 62–70% isn’t strong enough. If every country did this, we’d exceed 2.4°C of warming.

That would bring more frequent and dangerous bushfires, more deaths from heat and smoke, and 5 times the damage bill.

The government have announced their target of 62-70% emissions reduction by 2035. We know this is not enough.

After the release of the alarming National Climate Risk Assessment, we are ashamed the government has set such a dangerously low target.

We are deeply disappointed.

Fiona Lee lost her home in 2019. Today, there are 2 big things happening in her life: she’s installing sprinklers on her new home - and the government is going to reveal its 2035 climate targets.

We are doing what we can to stay safe, we need governments to do the same.

After the release of the National Climate Risk Assessment, we now await the announcement of Australia's 2035 climate targets.

The govt. can no longer afford to delay strong action - and that means real emissions reduction and a strong climate target to keep people safer.

But there’s hope. We can act now to protect lives and our communities...

Murray Watt has just signed off on an expansion of Glencore’s Ulan coal mine near Mudgee - granting access to 18.8 million extra tonnes of coal until 2035. That means an additional 663 million tonnes of Scope 3 emissions when that coal is burned.

The Albanese Government IS apprently very comfortable with approving Woodside's North West Shelf LNG facility until 2070. The centrepiece of *the most polluting fossil fuel project in the southern hemisphere*

When-if ever-will this government stand with communities, not corporations?
As communities face record-breaking floods, toxic algal blooms, and massive unseasonal dust storms, we're asking: what will it take for our leaders to choose communities over corporations?
