The internet is capable of bringing out the best in humanity, but it instead has trotted out all the social miscreants.

I'm not saying that you're a local turncoat if you're a Pittsburgh musician and you don't press your vinyl with @hellbendervinyl.bsky.social but... actually, that is what I'm saying. Ask your local musicians where they pressed their vinyl!

How can anybody (regardless of their political views) take the current US administration seriously when they named a government department after a 15 year old meme?

Dat ‘cism again.
In 1975, The Pointer Sisters became the first Black women to win a Grammy in a country category. A few months prior, a party was held in their honour at the Grand Ole Opry. When they showed up, they were mistaken for catering staff and sent to the kitchen.

Carly Simon — Tranquillo (Melt My Heart) (1978). Rescued this Canadian promo from the dollar bins today. Breezy disco that is slept on by some as it barely hit the U.S. pop charts back in the day. #vinyl

Edwin Birdsong — Funtaztik (1981). Six years have passed since his death. Although he didn't have any chart hits, Birdsong's catalogue speaks for itself. His experimental funk and disco tracks have been sampled numerous times, including Daft Punk, De La Soul and Gang Starr. #vinyl

If you’re tired of the cold, hop in our weldotron! This thing is reaching temps a lil over 400 degrees F. It’s also the piece of equipment we use to shrink wrap your vinyl. So go ahead, grab a margarita and let’s get shrink wrapped in those warm temps! 🏖️
