Took my mom to get her covid shot today. Unfortunately dad can't get his right now. He has a bacterial infection and gout. I hate seeing him in pain. Pretty sure his liver is wrecked too and he doesn't even drink. Stay hydrated. Months/years of borderline dehydration will mess you up.

I don't understand why the Canadian government isn't investing more in clean energy like wind, solar, and tidal. Why are they still clinging to climate destroying fossil fuels? We could make a lot of jobs manufacturing clean energy and maintaining it.

I remember when I learned about residential schools. I saw a tv movie called Where the Spirit Lives. I remember being so mad that the government did such awful things. I also thought it was a long time ago. As an adult I learned they were still doing it well into the 90s. I will never forget.

Gracie spent 3 hours at the vet today. She got chest xrays. She probably has asthma and she's been put on a diet. She's 5.3 kg. Time for new food. There goes my monies.

I'm taking Gracie to the vet in 8 hours. I've never taken her to the vet. This should be a fun experience.

I don't have a steady income but I know people that are wealthy. They could easily support a family in Gaza but they don't. "It's complicated. The government knows what they're doing". Makes me want to scream. The disconnect is maddening.

PSA: Please remember to wear a well-fitting mask when you’re at the pharmacy getting vaccinated (or are there for any other reason). I really appreciate anyone taking a step to protect themselves by getting vaccinated, but you put yourself at unnecessary risk if you don’t wear a mask while doing so.
