Year 2022: Five furries are drawing together. The appearance of the characters are dictated by their artist's style. Sharp, swirly, monochromatic, bold, iridescent. Some are focused on their canvases. One is puzzled. Another is frustrated. A spectrum of struggles across a little group. A community. "Group draw time.." I haven't seen anything else like it." Year 2023 (the year genAI models came out): Sketch shows up to the group draw with the only one showing his work. The other furries have vastly 'improved' in their 3d forms, yet despite their different upbringings and inspirations/influences, look.. the same. They are not drawing. Luckily, I've gotten much better at this lately!
A three panel comic titled "Portion control". A person is looking at art online. At first they are motivated "That's some interesting art... Maybe I should try that too?" They keep looking at more art and feel motivated: "Wow!! These artists are so good! I can't wait to go practise so I can catch up!". As they look at even more art, they get overwhelmed: "They're so many... Why am I even trying...?"
