I’m reading Katalepsis and I gotta say, knowing it ends up polyamorous but not knowing who or how big the polycule is is kinda fucking hilarious because Heather finds every woman she interacts with attractive. Obv, Heather and Raine are involved, but who else? Lozzie? Evee? Twil? Praem???

My dnd party’s moral compass/impulse control had to miss a session so our preparations for a race were competing in has immediately devolved from “how can we win this race?” into “how much collateral can we inflict in the process of *competing* in this race?” (winning has become secondary)

-G: 1 Legendary Creature
-U: 1 Legendary Creature
-W: 1 Legendary Creature
-R: 2 Legendary Creatures (both the same character)
-B: *5* Legendary Creatures
Does Wizards know the other combinations exist?

The Beast fight is sick, but I really don’t understand why it is where it is. I feel like Dogma fits Home so much better. Beast feels like it should be like Mega Satan, Hush, or Delirium.

Someone who gets Otherverse magic better than me *needs* to write a Pale/The Owl House fusion a la Peel. Pale is basically just YA TOH with a way cooler magic system, we need to lure the TOH fans in so we can trap them.

Post-canon pgte/post-canon Pale crossover, one of the shards of the Twilight Ways connects to a Path, Indrani finds it and, obviously, explores it, bumps into Avery. The Creation is a sort of pocket realm, like Thea specialises in, but more fundamental.

The Silver Huntress and Painted Knife are interesting because rather than being archetypes, like every other Name in the story I can think of, they reference specific in-world stories. Especially since both Alexis and Kallia only played out that story when they first became Named.

As much as I find using made up words to describe the hair colour of anime characters annoying, what’s infinitely worse is the words they use for it. “Pinkette” you deserve to be executed it’s fucking roseate.

I want to be clear, this has nothing to do with the show, I have never watched it. Bender is what you got called by kids too scared to say the F slur at school in the UK. The utter glee with which it's being propositioned here is simply endlessly funny to me.

Cat was very much still affected by her Role while she didn’t have a Name, so I wonder what Nameless characters had Roles that we don’t know about. Abigail and Cordelia are obvious. Razin probably does, but not Aquiline. Juniper, but maybe only after “Marshal Juniper Wins Here.”
One thing Twig does that I’m super impressed by is this subtle change in the narration depending on whether Sy has had a recent injection of Wyvern or not. I can’t really say what Wibbles does, but I can pretty regularly tell when he needs an appointment before he mentions it.

I managed to convince my DM to let me use Survival to try to figure out how to talk to a sapient boat purely because they respected the hustle, and I immediately rolled nat 1 so instead I got distracted for an hour by catnip.

I’m pretty sure there’s two Peggy Sue pgte fics, but somehow they’re the two least interesting takes on the idea. Okay, Akua goes back in time and is on Cat’s side from the start. Okay, Akua and Cat both go back in time and are gay and happy. What about Akua going back to some time post-Book 2,-

The Lambs polycule goes insane. Specifically Sy + all the girls. It’s basically Sy/Jessie and Mary/Lillian as fully independent couples that are good friends, but Sy is also both Mary and Lillian’s side chick. Also Helen is there.
