We know Willie Nelson's song "Pretty Paper" is about street vendor Frankie Brierton outside Leonards in Fort Worth.
Did you know Frankie is in a Garry Winogrand photo in the Smithsonian?

This would be a great day to come to the Greek Food Festival before it ends at 3. The lunch line is indoors out of the cold, and they still have chocolate baklava, Greek bread and spanakopita. One of the best foodie experiences in Fort Worth. (NW 21st at Jacksboro Hwy) www.fortworthgreekfestival.com

Here's Leigh Wambsganss' comment to KSKY's Mark Davis about Tarrant County Democrats and Democrat Taylor Rehmet’s 48% showing agsinst her in the #sd9 #txlege election going into a Jan runoff: "You know, the Democrats work, and Republicans should take no race for granted."
November 5, 2025 at 2:49 PM
Morning update: At 48%, Taylor Rehmet was about 3,000 votes short of winning outright. The last Democrat in this race drew 40%, and Harris drew 42%, so Rehmet improved Dem turnout. However, he would need independents to win the Jan runoff and then the Nov general. (Rehmet in blue.) #sd9 #txlege
