last year i made a little pixel tombstone. and then another. and another. until i was making an impromptu october prompt list i called #octomber! At the end i assembled all my little tombstones into one big graveyard

This year I want to try it again! Let's make little graveyards together!

The list reads: 1 - cat / black dog 2 3 - full moon / offering 4 5 - decoration 6 7 - vamp / werewolf 8 9 - bones / pumpkin 10 11 - decoration 12 13 - crypt / statue 14 15 - candles / ritual 16 17 - decoration 18 19 - grim reaper / crypt keeper 20 21 - ghost / zombie 22 23 - decoration 24 25 - empty grave / broken 26 27 - witch / crow 28 29 - bloody / candy 30 31 - Put it all together! In the lower right corner is pixel art of a tombstone on a grassy plot with lit candles around its base. A black bird sits on top. An image with a desaturated orange background, the word OCTOMBER centered at the top. The letters T-O-M-B are in white while the rest are in black. The rest of the image is filled with text that reads: Make a tombstone using the prompts as inspiration! They can be a decoration on the tombstone itself, something surrounding the area, or a character / additional element! It’s your graveyard, design it how you like! To avoid burnout there is a choice of prompts every other day. Every third day is a day to make a decoration or just rest. Decorations can be: fences, benches, lampposts/lights, an office, flower pots, entry gate, paths, grass plots, whatever you like! At the end of the month assemble all of your plots and decorations together in one big piece to make your completed graveyard! “Rules” please use the #octomber hashtag so I can find and share it! please include the prompt graphic in your post so others can find it and join in! please include alt text for the prompt graphic (you can copy/paste mine!) isometric pixel art of a small graveyard. in the first row there is a mossy tombstone surrounded by candles, a large raven perched on top. beside it is an empty grassy patch, followed by a freshly dug grave with a pile of dirt and a shovel sticking out. another grassy patch is beside that and then a stone bench with a glowing blue spirit sitting on it. she has long flowing hair and an amorphous shape to her body. blue light illuminates the bench and grass below her. in the middle row, there is a flat gravestone plaque with a vase of purple flowers. this is right behind the tombstone with the raven. beside the vase is a grassy patch followed by another flat tombstone plaque, this time with a black cat sitting on it. the cat sits with its front paws curled in and its head tilted upward, eyes closed. the rest of the middle row is all grass. the third and final row starts with a tall statue of a woman with wings in a long flowing gown. her hands are raised to her chest and her eyes closed in a serene expression. she is directly behind the gravestone with the vase. beside her is a tall, broken gravestone with a bright blue butterfly resting on it. beside that is a wide tombstone with a greenish zombie hand bursting out of the ground in front of it, reaching upward. next is a tall gravestone, the top half taking the shape of a cross. the lower half is covered in moss and vines. finally, there is a tall black lamppost, lit with a dull yellow glow.

It's really hard for me to choose a specific tiered list of my favourite films. I always rotate between a dozen of them as my 'Official Top 5' films lol. Princess Mononoke always seems to stay in the rotation though
