Why hasn't @schumer.senate.gov resigned as minority leader yet? He has lost even the ability to control the Quislings

Wow, wow, wow. This has always been legally possible but the law has virtually never been enforced — and now this is the SECOND case I've heard of in the last month (first involving a person with a green card) of a noncitizen being charged for failure to carry their papers.
NEWS: ICE gave a Rogers Park man a $130 ticket for not having his papers on him. They rounded him up last week and eventually let him go, but not without a fine that some critics say is un-American. Trump admin enforcing little-used law

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement fined Rueben Antonio Cruz $130 for not having his papers with him.

If I knew absolutely 💯 % I could get away with doing "it" I would do "it" in a heartbeat. Then I would celebrate doing "it" by going to In N Out for a Double Double, Fries and a chocolate shake.

We lost a son to AIDS in 2013. Stuart of AIDS Memorial did a memorial for him. The AIDS Memorial is a special place for us.
Seeing this reminds me of the documentary Common Threads: Stories From The Quilt. It gets to me every time I watch it.
My first World AIDS Day was spent helping out at a dance capping a week of activities in my first year of college that ended with me kissing the person who became my first boyfriend.

That was 29 years ago tonight. Here’s to all those we lost, all I’ve learned since, and our community’s strength.

This interview, which is also available to listen to as a podcast, provides a useful overview of some of the dangerous trends we’ve been seeing in recent months regarding federalization and militarization of state and local police functions.
