One of the most bizarre narratives i've seen develop since the election is that is pro-Palestine voters cost Kamala the election and that dems should also exorcise these voters from the party. If they're that important to you winning, maybe you should do something about that!

Whenever I see a headline like this, I find it very hard to feel anything but a deep sense of apathy for whatever "breakthrough" is going to solve climate change. We already have solutions to climate change, what we need is action
Publicly funded schools are going to save the world! If we can stop rich people from snorting the powder we may have finally found a climate change solution that buys us some real time!

Like with many things, corporations and their actions are downstream of society’s values. Rainbow capitalism cannot affect society bc it’s purely a reaction to it.
This is the real danger for people who buy into the idea that corporations effect social change. As soon as there is a cost benefit analysis of an initiative that tips in a certain direction they'll abandon any cause they pretend to care about
