I always read some books from the FT's Business Book of the Year list. The 2025 winner, Stephen Witt's biography of Jensen Huang and #Nvidia is one of the best books in years. (The 2012 winner, Steve Coll's book on #Exxon drew me into energy research full-time.) #AI www.penguin.co.uk/books/462527...

Grok produced an interesting list of the Top 10 most important cities in #oilandgas: Houston, London, Singapore, Dubai, Geneva, Riyadh, Beijing, Moscow, Calgary, Stavanger. Geneva is perhaps surpsiring as it's easy to forget its major role in oil trading (Vitol, Trafigura, etc.).
