accidentally watched THE PITT in a matter of days. extraordinary. Dr. Mel King the GOAT, possibly my favorite TV character in years.

the Pitt exceeds because it’s what TV should be: beloved characters in emotional stories that affirm life.

still truly vibrating from ONE BATTLE AFTER ANOTHER. among every (correct) thing about it, I can't get over how it feels like the first movie (I've seen, probably wrong) made by a parent who regrets the world their children live in and their role in it. just phenomenal stuff

in the Hans Zimmer concert movie/documentary, Timothée Chalament basically chapter-and-verses the Gladiator soundtrack, saying he shouted "track 6" at Paul Mescal.
