On Friday night, I went to my first ever local tournament for Pokemon TCG. I may have ended the night with 2 wins and 2 losses playing Dragapult Cahrizard, but the people there were awesome and helped me have a great time while I dealt with my anxiety. The MVP was my amazing partner though.

Twitch may be trying to move quickly on content understanding features, but what about their ability to understand the users of their platform? Their attention to their users hasn't increased in a VERY long time, and this statement from Mike Minton proves it. Streamers don't want AI trash.

Having read today's Fallout Day announcements, I have to say I'm underwhelmed by what was revealed. All I wanted was the announcement of a new game, and we didn't even get that. Just content updates and re-releases.

Mala Petaka from @hellforgestudios.bsky.social is a blast. Finished it on Normal difficulty after 4 hours of gameplay. Couple of bugs (nothing game breaking) in my playthrough, but well worth the time and your support. Check it out when it releases later this week. Thanks Hellforge for the code!

Is it just me or is the UI for Google Pixel phones getting worse with every major update? I absolutely hate the direction it's going. I want it back to what it looked like in Android 15.

Twitch's front page recommendations are godawful these days. I'm just constantly getting things I don't want to watch.
What they need to do is very simple: give users a menu where they can filter out everything they don't want using checkboxes (i.e. partnered streamers, languages, categories etc).

Decided to install Linux yesterday ahead of Windows 10 going into end-of-life. I chose Fedora. It's great once you have it setup. Gaming feels great so far, it's easy for me to navigate KDE for the most part, and I'm looking forward to doing a lot more testing on it moving forward.

It's just a matter of time before I wipe my laptop to install Linux. I've chosen my distribution already, just deciding whether to wait for the next release in a couple of months or not.

This is 100% for Microsoft's stupid AI garbage. Switch away from Microsoft Office if you use it. This should NOT be legal, especially for business/government sensitive information and personal data. If you want an alternative that is completely free and respects privacy, try OnlyOffice instead.
