We are approaching that time of year where I can get a parking space right outside of my office and wear shorts and sandals to work because no one is here. #SchoolsOutForSummer

“In a lot of ways, it takes us back to our late 20s and 30s, being players. And the stories just continue and pick right up as if I saw them last week."

The Cubs are thrilled to have Ryno in camp this spring, and a couple of his old friends made a surprise visit this weekend.

My childhood heroes.
Mark Grace and Shawon Dunston showed up to Cubs camp today, joining Fergie Jenkins, Rick Sutcliffe and Ryne Sandberg for a lively chat on the agility field.

Surcliffe pulled Matt Shaw over to meet the group. And Craig Counsell stopped by to join the convo for a bit.

My office building is directly next to the athletic building, and my window looks out on a parking lot…I spend a lot of the day watching student athletes’ cars getting parking tickets. Not feeling confident this person who parked in the handicapped spot, already with a ticket, is gonna make it.

Didn’t realize the deferred money could be invested by the dodgers. This essentially means they are taking interest free loans from the players who they’ve convinced to defer their salaries. What a sham. apple.news/AiK9iDDe6SXi...

I’m getting real tired of the dodgers.
The Cubs reportedly offered Tanner Scott a 4-year contract at $66 million, before agreeing to a contract worth 4-years $72 million with the Dodgers, per Jon Morosi.

Huge thanks to New South Associates, who is providing expertise, equipment, and training so I can build this skillset in GPR, and get Black cemeteries in our community the GPR they need. This is part of a North Carolina Humanities Grant we received to document 4 acres of the Odd Fellows Cemetery…

2 hour delay tomorrow. For goodness sake. I've been willing to give North Carolinians some slack because I know they don't have the infrastructure to handle snow, and I understand ice. But come on now. It's basically gone. Our kids need to go to school.
