so was it Hogan or an editor (presumably from misunderstanding the title of his most famous work) who posthumously promoted Machiavelli from civil servant to prince?

The reason I'm concerned about Maria Steen being on the ballot isn't that she will win (she won't).

My worry is that if she is nominated, it will mean a month of national airtime for a hate campaign against vulnerable groups, carried by a media too scared of being sued to call it what it is

already there is a paper there by zucker, other equally unacceptable authors also listed

that this is thrown wide to the public seems almost intended to attract nastiness

irish times just published a trans sport "controversy" article, with the claim that sports bodies are "scared" to speak out

an obvious slight-of-hand to transform the *absence* of problems into evidence for one

"everyone is thinking this but no-one is saying it"

a crude counterfeit

while I wont link to genspect's website (which i have of course archived), I cannot imagine O'Dowd wrote anything which would not be easily verified by a quick glance round that cesspit.

2024 hse annual report, wonder what "escalation" was done re MoC for "gender healthcare"

given this + the recent dail statements i wonder if the ngs interrogators are worried that, for the first time, *they* will end up in a room being asked deeply unpleasant probing questions

I would love to ask Irish political attendees to Budapest pride to direct their attention to the utter shitshow of *Irish* trans healthcare and legal rights - Discrimination in polite language is still discrimination.

Thread is finished (though unfortunately a bit messed up) a run through of Senator Keogan's numerous statements in the Seanad - its quite the wild ride
apparently, discussion on "gender ideology" has been prohibited and suppressed for a decade

(don't laugh!)

the senator was shocked to discover Council of Europe guidance for human rights compliant trans healthcare & laws (some which are over a decade old)
