I did it. I finished it all(sans the anthology side book). Easily in my top five favorite sci-fi book series of all time. Even the weakest book was still a hell of a ride. I gotta watch the show now but idk if I'm ready to hurt like that all over again so soon.

The brainworms have really been getting to me the last few weeks, but I found some new figs on sale so that's cool.

Been looking at the reviews for this and it just keeps reminding me how Metroid is one of those franchises where the ven diagram of "game you remember playing" and "actual game" are two completely seperate circles. Legit the second worst victim of nostalgia goggles after Pokemon.
I'm about 2hrs into Prime 4 and I'm loving every minute of it. Yes, even Miles. Y'all are fuckin babies about him. My only complaint so far is some of the scannable stuff feels very unnecessary. I don't need to know that the assembly line arm is in fact an assembly line arm. Otherwise 10/10 game!

Post-game fit check with my Alpha Feraligatr Gustav! I loved the story, all the characters(except Jacinthe), and the new battle style. I will say everything else feels a bit lackluster. All the post-game stuff just feels very unengaging. Still one of my favorite Pokemon games to date.
