And the second is them stepping back and wondering why the monsters are returning.

Not gonna lie I’m really happy about doing a year recap because I’ve been hard on myself for not doing some of the things I set out to do, but this reminded me to not discount what I DID do this year.
Even if you don’t achieve some things, it doesn’t mean you didn’t achieve anything.

I am literally writing fanfiction again and it feels so good and slowly I can feel the muses for my original stories being inspired.
Since holiday break has been activated I really should use the time to reintroduce my Black, queer, magical girl book series to the world, especially since I’m finishing up the third book.

Very inspiring to see an indie game get so many awards. It’s been hard to feel creative lately for a lot of different reasons, so it’s really nice to see a small team of creatives get so much recognition.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.
