We are currently living with an administration that is working with a de facto Enabling Act. If you’re not familiar, look up Enabling Act 1933. It’s de facto because no one who can stop them is going to. You don’t need an actual law allowing it if no will stop you.

In the 1920s and 30s the members of the Reichstag thought that they could bring Hitler into the political fold and then nullify him once there. WRONG. I guess Conservatives don't read much history cause they sure as shit don't seem to know much about it.
