A few notes about myself:

I'm not a journalist. I'm not a political expert. I don't have all the answers. I'm a lousy proofreader. I'm just an opinionated American who strongly believes that a rising tide lifts all boats. And right now, I only see 0.1% of the boats lifting.
"Internal bleeding" is a scary term for a bruise.

Oh no, he got a boo-boo? Poor wittle him.

They aren't just very concerned anymore. They're highly concerned!

And we're being gaslit into believing that the Mayor's "fuck" is worse somehow.

Is the mainstream media on crazy pills?

As an aside...that suit looks pretty large on Trump...is he losing weight? Is his health even worse than what has been speculated?

It would not surprise me that he might be going full Rittenhouse.

Fascism is HERE, and the Democrat solution is... to pretend that it's not.

What is wrong with the party leadership??

To RFK Jr. and his ilk, dead children are an acceptable sacrifice when it comes to push one's agenda.

Minnesota is fucking awesome. Period. End of story.

Jim Jordan is clueless and hasn't a single original thought in his 15 remaining brain cells.

He has stopped so many wars, now he has to start the same number of wars to bring true balance.

One half of Congress is barking like a trained seal hoping that Trump gives them a treat. The other half is listlessly calling for meetings and more discussions.

Congress should be serving as a check on abuse of executive power. Right now it is ineffectual and weak, only emboldening Trump.

Great. I have to listening to this blithering idiot talk and watch as he drives the world into a downward spiral because...hold on, let me check my notes...we elected a Black man 16 years ago.

Take BACK the oil? It was never yours, you barely-sentient scrotum.
Trump on the US running Venezuela: It will not cost us anything because the money coming out of the ground is substantial. We’re going to take back the oil.

"Poor predictable America always takes regime change..."

"Good ol' regime change. Nothing beats that!"

Imagine being such a sociopath that you start a war because you didn't win a peace prize.

Aaaaand there it is.

It has nothing to do with drug trade and everything to do with the oil trade.

If FIFA doesn't have the moral clarity to pull the World Cup out of the United States after what has happened in Venezuela, then it is up to the nations who have qualified to announce that they are pulling out.

...are primarily about serving their own self-interest. It's just that "fighting for democracy" and "doing it for the safety of our children" do a wonderful job in placating the masses.

At what point do we say, "Enough is enough. This is unacceptable?" Not soon enough, I fear.

... and what is happening in Venezuela right now is evidence of that. This foreign policy is unsustainable and will only create great anguish down the road...

There are no good guys and bad guys. Nations (and their leaders, often at the expense of their own citizenry...)

On the other hand, the American Civil War devastated the old Confederacy, and the lesson that was taken from that was, "We were right all along, it's just that the Union was too strong..."

Manifest Destiny, sadly, didn't stop at the Pacific coast. It still permeates today...

Perhaps if America had such a similar experience, perhaps we wouldn't be so thirsty when it comes to engaging in conflicts overseas or elsewhere in the Western Hemisphere. Perhaps if we saw the horrors firsthand, our eyes would open...
