Toro Puzzle really should’ve been given a fair chance. It’s a shame! But at least something good came out of it with Sora becoming the official 7th crew member!

Did not expect the final line of Rosswood to feel so much more impactful than the final line of Marble Hornets. This mini-series was so tightly written and so much better acted overall. Best slow burn I’ve watched in a while! Genuinely had me on edge.

In The Suffering there are 3 ghosts representing Good, Evil, and Neutral. I really like the introductory cutscene for them all. I’m especially fond of Dr. Killjoy, because I fuck with his aesthetic, appearing as a literal projection from old cameras.

Now that I’ve watched all of Gumball including the new show, I can confidently say I’ve only outright disliked 1 episode and didn’t care too much for 1 other. Both of which were in the new season, and I loved the rest, so that’s a pretty good run! Still peak!

I only just yesterday heard that there was a Jacob’s Ladder remake, and I was really confused on how I could’ve totally blanked a remake of one of the greatest psychological horror films ever made from my memory. Well…

It’s kinda funny to me how on the subreddit people are debating whether or not the figure on the right is the Operator, and if it’ll be in the series at all. Like, is that even a question? It’s the main driving antagonistic force of the series! Also LOOK AT IT! 👀
I see you, fucker! Look very closely on the right. This is a great first Operator sighting; calling back to the more subtle appearances it would make back in season 1 of the original series.

This one doesn’t get its flowers nowadays. Highly recommend it! Each of the monsters is symbolic of various execution methods, it has an intense industrial soundtrack made from objects you’d find in the actual environments, and a totally naturally integrated morality system.

Rosswood honestly makes me hope Troy and Joseph continue to film more stuff together again. They’ve got such good chemistry in the writing department.

Can’t help but ramble to myself about the new Marble Hornets mini series! Not too much to say about episode 1, but it was great set up and did a good job of re-introducing Alex and Jay, but as they’d be if they got to keep living normal lives.

30 years of Remedy, baby! I started with Max Payne and have been sinking deeper into the rabbit hole ever since. Happy birthday to the studio that has consistently delivered some of the most complex, creative narratives in gaming!

I can confidently say that this was worth all 110 hours I put into it. Genuinely, both games combined are a once in a lifetime, generational journey.
