Every day I wake to read about new things in my country that are the exact opposite of good, fair, productive, or sane. It’s like Trump is having a contest to see how far from acceptable things can get. And they’re probably laughing about it.

The US government is now arresting judges and outlawing any opposition. The MAGA/Project 2025 purge has begun. Where is the outcry from the sane elected leaders on both sides? They were elected to represent their constituents, not roll over like spineless failures.

I’m a retired veteran of the US Navy, and the thought of wasting $92 million of our money on a birthday parade for a lying, draft-dodging rapist with nothing but contempt for our military is the biggest insult he can give. I feel so sorry for the servicemembers who will be forced to participate.
