Couldn't agree with this more. In emergency situations, info keeps ppl safe. So it should be packaged in a way that everyone can understand. The great thing about universal design is that it'll make info accessible to ppl with aphasia AND everyone else #aphasiagain
I feel very strongly that Person Centred Emergency Preparedness should be considered for all people with #aphasia & their immediate family. We surveyed folks this year & identified extreme vulnerability & dependence on others during emergencies. Work to do to close this gap.
