You know, knowing that this lamp counts as "vintage" by virtue of being over 30 years old stings a LOT more considering I made the whole damn thing myself... (not the light bulb or the socket itself, those components were off the shelf, but I did do the wiring.)

Noticed a couple of weird things about it:
1. Why would someone getting a Blu-Ray burner want free web storage included?
2. You'd think that with a vertical stand, it'd have some way of keeping discs from *falling out* from a vertical position...

The problem is that the Norwegian alphabet uses 29 letters, and the mass mailing service recognizes 26 of them.

Welp, finally had that doctor's appointment. Shoulder need surgery to scrape the crud outta the joint, and I have a small tear there as well, unsurprisingly.
On the bright side, he upgraded my medication from "moose in orbit" to "elephant in orbit", so maybe I can get some comfortable sleep again?
