2 more bags of garbage off the field station today. Loaded that up with the others from previous weeks and hauled an entire truckload out to the dump.

An inspiring win and food for thought here in the Sky Islands: Everett, Washington, recently became the first U.S. city in the West to grant “rights of nature” to its watershed. Learn more in this article from High Country News: ow.ly/WLlA50VqKjr.

Step 1: clean up the garbage.

The field station has been trashed by folks since the 80’s. Unoccupied here means dumping ground to the folks that dump trash and shoot things. And the dumping continues…

Picking up trash is the thing we do most. 1 contractor bag on Sunday - just from our DRIVEWAY.

❤️❤️❤️ plant those seeds (literal and figurative)
The fantasy that you can engage in one big effective action that will solve & dominate the problem is supremacy resin in the brain.

You’ve been taught that small things don’t matter, that planting seeds doesn’t matter, that people, communities don’t matter

These are the only things that matter.
