Yes, I am taking on a new role within the Windows and Devices group here at @microsoft.com focusing on communications. I won't be as visible as I have been all these years but you'll still see me posting about Microsoft, Windows, and nerdy things of course.
This was posted over on Twitter by Amanda Langowski But @brandonleblanc.bsky.social is leaving their role in with the Windows Insider Program.
Wishing him good luck with the next step of his journey

Happy 20th birthday to Techmeme. This has been my go-to for tech industry news for most of that time and one of the homepages that opens whenever I launch my browser (Edge of course). I’ve also been featured on Techmeme for blog posts I’ve written which is always fun.
So I wrote a thing on the occasion of @techmeme.com's 20th birthday, and I couldn't help but drag Bluesky into it (don't dogpile me please). news.techmeme.com/250912/20-ye...

I hate coming here and seeing screenshots of tweets/posts from X. It feels silly. Why be here if all people share are screenshots from the "other place".

This doesn't match what my friends who live in Los Angeles are saying. Yes, there is a "dispute" between California and the federal government but its the "fiery protests" mentioned that doesn't quite seem to be what others are saying...
axios.com Axios @axios.com · Jun 8
Federal immigration sweeps in Los Angeles have prompted days of fiery protests and sparked a dispute between the state and federal government over how to respond.
LA protests: What to know as the National Guard mobilizes
President Trump signed a memorandum deploying 2,000 National Guardsmen to the area, despite local opposition.

I’m sorry but this is fucked up. Sign the petition.
BREAKING: The president's budget request just hit Congress, which could usher in a dark age for NASA space science.
Congress has the final say, but you can help shape the outcome by adding your name to our global petition.
This is just the start of our fight.

Another #LEGO set done. The Shuttle Carrier Aircraft. NASA partnered with Boeing in the late 70’s to use a modified 747 to haul the prototype Orbiter Space Shuttle Enterprise between locations during early testing for the Space Shuttle Program. This was a very fun set to build.

There is no discounting the impact Jony Ive has had even on modern Apple products today. But this really is weird. A AI wearable product people actually want that isn't their phone (right now)? I'm not sold.
Over three decades working in Silicon Valley, Jony Ive has shaped the shell of the iMac, designed the look of the iPod and come up with the form factor for the iPhone. Pretty much every major piece of Apple technology we touch, from the heyday of Alta Vista to today, went through Ive’s hands first.
