We had over 450 submissions for issue 8. Every piece took the idea of "body" to unexpected and engaging places. Issue 8's authors remind us that while we all have bodies, we often ignore the relationships those bodies have with us.

I need multiple litmags to report in on whether they’re finding BlueSky is getting similar engagement to literary twitter. I *really* want to get 3cents off twitter so I never need to see it again..

Writing a book proposal feels like online dating. Be engaging, but don’t come on too strong. Show you have a creative side, but also be serious. Show you’re well read, but don’t name drop really “important” books. Most importantly, don’t ever hint that you just want someone to love you.

I’m posting into the void hoping to find my people. If you’re a writer, an editor, a publisher, or a litmag—me too! I wanna know all about your stuff.

Let’s give this a shot. I’m Brandon. I’m a CNF writer, developmental editor, writing professor, founder of www.3centsMagazine.com & a managing editor at TrueMag.org. Would love to see literary twitter migrate somewhere new, so hit me up if you’re here for that too.
