Tired: I paid good money to be in a new city, I should go out and explore!

Wired: I paid good money for this hotel room, I should get my money's worth.

Ended the day with a weiß beer and a schnitzel, both entirely gluten free!

Took a sneaky video of the moment the titular cart trudges across the screen. An incredible film, honestly. Didn't expect this to have such an impact on me.

My main reason was to visit the Filmmuseum to watch some experimental works on 16mm. Finally got to see Ernie Gehr's Eureka!

Went to Vienna by Nightjet. Booked myself a Mini Cabin which was surprisingly comfortable for this 1.92m person. Now I only need to learn how to sleep soundly on a moving train.

The extent to which Games Done Quick has helped to steer the larger speedrunning community - one of the most hardcore video game enthusiast subcultures there is - into becoming something so welcoming, inclusive and supportive astonishes me

As director of the Louvre I'd spice things up by replacing the Mona Lisa without reason or announcement with a poster of all the first gen Pokémon.

Cinema-update: the DCP projector is finally in place, though not yet in one piece. I'll hopefully have it up and running for the Halloween double bill. Had to move the 35mm projector out of the way because the lamp is broken and someone threw out all the replacements.
