I have Big Thoughts on Silksong, but I'm going to let them marinate.
One thing for sure - I don't think this game understands what things are difficult. An area that an NPC specifically warned me not to go to was much easier than the mandatory boss fight in the same zone.

Absolutely! As bad as things are, the fact is our country has been through much worse. But we can't just wait for things to change on their own. Windows of opportunity close, and we have to be active and vocal now so that there is a later.
