For decades Grand Juries have been sort of a meaningless rubber stamp because any skilled prosecutor could get them to bring in an indictment. But with Trump and his goons we are seeing the original intent of Grand Juries as they have refused to indict vindictive/capricious Trump prosecutions.

Buttigieg: Most people who voted for Trump weren't voting for the idea that an American citizen could be pushed to the ground, have federal agents take his gun away, and then shoot him up to 10 times. I don't think Americans were voting for immigration police to get more funding than the FBI itself.

Finished reading: “Twelve Months” by Jim Butcher, a Dresden Files novel.
It was good although not great. It did what it needed to do to tie off plot threads left from previous books in the series.
I would really like the next Dresden Files book to come out in about a year. No pressure. :-)
