In my opinion one of the reasons why many straight people are so afraid and jealous of the LGBTQIA2S+ people because we don't obey to the rules of "social norms".

I use it in talks because it's pretty and also because, as an audience member, I am perpetually squinting at people's slides

I've felt for years that something is "strange" with modern movies, that I don't feel the same sense of "connection" with them as with older ones.
I brushed the feeling off by thinking "well I'm not the target audience anymore", but this video gives some explanation why I feel that way.

Wait, you do not ask the cats of the house if they are feeling to be ready for some delicious lunch?
They have feelings too, you know?!

I'm scrolling in the app and see all the beautiful artworks.
My 2 simultaneous thoughts:
- I'm jealous and I hate you, and you, and youuuuu, I especially hate You for making such stunning artworks🤬
- Oh yes, keep it coming, you all are wonderful, I want to see more more more 😊

I don't care what your religion teaches you about how to treat other people and living beings.
Can you feel, see, hear, or in any way perceive how others struggle?
If your religion says to you that it's ok to hurt or let others be hurted, it's time to change religion.
If you feel you can't find any hope in our recent times, here is my trick to keep myself going forward:
I regularly remind myself that many of those fucking fascist will be dead in a few years, because they are old and sick.
And they can not do anything to prevent this.
Ahh, better.😉😁

My contemplation:
The unfortunate fact, that for now we live in a money-driven world.
And although we need to work on to change this, but to be able to do that, in meantime we need to be able to survive the day.

I don't think that we can rigorously define what art is or isn't.
We can see that throughout history the perception of art constatly changes.
It's a malleable definiton and subject.

I've been thinking about this for a long time now.
When tje conservatives say something like:
"Illegal migrants take away your job, that's why the people of the country are poor, etc."

If you think closed practices havr an obsolete approach to the craft, and they are "gatekeeping" there knowledge, and don't understand the historical, social, etc. context why those groups, communities don't want ro share something with You, then here is an idea:

I simply do not understand (note: sarcasm) why straight christian people are so afraid of queer people.
Unless of course, they think we want to do the same thing to them, that they done to queer people throughout the last 2 millennia.

In my opinion you can skip, reinterpret, modify and create new celebrational occasions (holidays, festivities).
These were originally arbitrarily created, so I don't see any issue if someone decides to make arbitraritly changes in them.

In the first part I was a parent l and I was good at it (yeah I know it's a dream 😁), the kid was happy.
In the second part apocalypse.
Pretty sure the 2 things had nothing to do wich each other. 😉

Here is bad news for the people who try to defend Ai coprorations that "using copyrighted material is fair use..."
Shhhh.... be quiet darling.
"Fair use" is NOT universally accepted in every country in the world.
So you cannot refer to it.

But you know what?
Ok, let's play this game.
You can keep your precious AI.
For one and only one purpose:
Scientific research.
With full transparency towards the public.
And without any corporate interest.
Well?

I've read in a post that:
In reality your probleme is not AI but copyright abuse.
And:
People conflate Generative AI with machine learning and LLM.
Without any respest: No, not just the copyright abouse.

My "favourite" kind of article or video is when it has an interesting title, then you wait for 20 minutes or read it almost the end to get it to the gist just to realize that it is practically nothing of significantly important in the whole article/video.

I'm reading a good book.
But I need constantly turn to the notes (they're good notes 😉)
And I think to myself:
What is the rate where the "notes" for a book become their own chapter?
I think when its length is at least equal to the main text.
😁
