I wrote this poem at Holy Cross Monastery on Friday, when hundreds of clergy joined the anti-ICE protests in Minneapolis, before Alex Pretti was killed. Our national crisis is escalating quickly. I’m sharing this today, when much of the country is home following the winter storm. #perseverance
I was so furiously enraged at them, I pursued them even to foreign cities. "With this in mind, I was traveling to Damascus with the authority and commission of the chief priests, when at midday along the road, I saw a light from heaven, brighter than the sun, shining around me and my companions. 1/2
