Local Farm Market in Beloit, Wisconsin: My husband grows the vegetables, I make the pottery!
I planted a couple dozen red maple in our woods while Raul and our son got these precious strawberry flowers covered just in case of frost tonight. We don't want to risk those precious berries for you! We *think* the sweetcorn will be safe uncovered... time will tell.

The baby broccoli and cabbage plants that are outside the greenhouse really enjoyed this morning's shower! And the baby lettuces, too!! I hear the asparagus could be coming soon. Get ready, neighbors, the growing season has started! 🥬🌸

How do our CSA boxes work? Basically every weekend for 24 weeks you stop by our farm market and pick up a ¾ bushel box of fresh seasonal produce along with my weekly newsletter filled with farm happenings and recipe suggestions for what's fresh in the box that week! More info at bountifulbeloit.com

I'm firing three shelves full of new mugs in the kiln today! Isn't it amazing how a little heat can transform simple minerals into these beautiful glazes?! AND my kiln is running on renewable energy equivalents, too. 🌞🌬
