Nothing like a Formula 1 race over breakfast at 7am. In Rome no less. Mad respect for NASCAR and Indy car drivers, but these guys are the best on the planet.

Finished the new NF series “Race for the Crown” last night. Really enjoyed it. Like most native Kentuckians I love horses and Thoroughbred horse racing. If you share your that, even if you don’t I think you’ll love/like it.

I just ask an AI engine what is UK men’s BB win loss record since 1957 the year I was born. I got pages of info, but in the end the record which it said may not be exactly correct was 1,475-471, a 74.6 percent over 68 years to this very day. Along the way 5 titles. Granted I was 11 months in 1958.

What a day! UK wins at Missouri, and I just took a 6 mile hike in the Flatirons on a cloudless, calm 55 degree day. Now I’m soaking it all in watching other CBB games. Sometimes UK BB makes me sad, but other times so happy. I’m fired up for the post season!

UK’s 8th ranked women’s team is ahead at the half at Ole Miss. A win will have them at 20-2, and 9-1 in the SEC! I look forward to MP having the men at 20-2/19-1.

It’s hard for me to accept that UK is having a hard time putting away an 0-9 team. And that we’re tied for 9th place in the SEC. I’m not blaming MP, he was put in a very difficult situation. It’s just these last 6 years we haven’t won anything.

UK’s women’s team rebounded from a loss with a big win over Arkansas. Now 17-2 ranked 11th. Will probably fall a spot or two after the road loss at A&M.

Whatever happened to the Letcher county sheriff who killed the district judge? Or the guy who shot at people on I75 around London, and was found dead by a couple of Youtubers? Funny how stories like just disappear.

A common theme and big problem in the SEC. 45 fouls were called in the UK/A&M game. 47 for the Fla/Mizzo game along with 9 reviews. Game took 3 hours to play. It’s making SEC games unwatchable.

3% from the field, and 5-17 from three yet UK leads by 3 at the half. Because they are 10-10 from the line, and have battled on the boards to a 20-20 tie. Hit some more shots, and the Cats should win by 10 or more.

I’m wrong frequently, but today I predicted a 2-3 point win by UK in a high scoring game. Close enough. Huge road SEC win by our Cats. Bodes well for the games they face.

Broncos not getting much respect from Vegas. The Bills are a 9 1/2 point favorite. That’s an unusually big spread for an NFL game.

Was very disappointed to see the Rockets have sent Reed Sheppard to their G league team. At least he’s still getting a third pick salary. Apparently he’s the fifth guard in their rotation, and isn’t getting much PT. Now he’ll get a lot of minutes. He’ll be fine.

It’s 8pm in the MTZ. Ok I just had a couple of tokes. My mind wonders to the 3 most significant places I have lived. Harlan, Ky, Albuquerque, NM, and Boulder. All distinctly different than the other 2. It gives me a somewhat unique perspective. I knew and loved a Mescalero Apache woman.

Cars are what is up. Have you ever raced your car down 1/8 or 1/4 mile straight strip. Or competed at say High Plains Raceway a track I helped build with my back and wallet? Surely there are some other grassroots racers here?

Have to believe there are some very knowledgeable iPhone users here. I can go to Settings/password and see my Id/pw for all of the 130 apps I have installed except for my credit union. I’m thinking that’s because their app doesn’t allow it to be saved. Would that be a good assumption?

Found myself watching the New Mexico bowl. Spectacular, cloudless day. Normal in the high desert of NM. I lived there 8 years and came to love it. Seeing the footage brought back a sudden flood of memories. Funny the things that can trigger them.
