I've been digging into the MUN budget. Despite these "necessary" cuts to things like the Harris Centre, the admin is adding an extra $1,536,493 Administrative Salaries totalling $126,665,836 for 2025-26.
They allocated $470,915 for 100th anniversary programming and to a Canada games project office.

If you want to minimize the influence of the far right, defunding public institutions is not the way to go about it.

Instead of giving in to the demands and implementing "border security" measures to appease the Trump regime, Canada should instead follow the path of Denmark when faced with an aggressive fascist neighbour.

Honestly at this point Canada should just let him put the tariffs in place and find other trade partners. Remember how supposedly all of this started because of fentanyl? Now it’s the digital services tax which was announced ages ago.

Today marks 3 years since I first completed a name change application for someone else.
