Senator Schumer is no longer effective and should be replaced. If you can’t lead the fight to stop healthcare premiums from skyrocketing for Americans, what will you fight for?

Following up on this. This remains a ‘cave is minutes or hours away’ situation. If you want to impact how this plays out you need to contact senators literally now. I want to add additional points of context. What I’m relaying is what I’ve picked up from highly reliable sources.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

You know all those small donor dollars Democratic Senators rely upon? Here’s hoping that revenue stream dries up. I know I’m not giving a penny to Democrats who have lost their way and have stopped fighting for me/us.
That's exactly what it is, it's like they took Trump's half-assed post and tossed it into ChatGPT for Government to create an outline. It's preposterous and will be an administrative nightmare, especially because people are supposed to be picking plans for next year *right now*.
Jesus isn’t this a scholar-ed up version of what Trump tweeted out a couple of days ago?

I asked Georgetown law prof David Super wtf is going on with this latest demand for states to claw back benefits already sent out.
He says the law doesn't allow for this, and if the USDA is mad that states already sent out SNAP money, too bad—they were following USDA's own guidance. Full comments:

'Feed the hungry' is one of the basic, fundamental, direct-order-from-Jesus, tenets of being a Christian, and it's not 'feed the hungry when it's politically expedient to do so or advances your wider agenda'.

Donald Trump has asked his employees on the Supreme Court to overrule lower court orders demanding that he fulfill his duties to feed Americans who are due SNAP benefits
AND
He's demanding that states which just rushed to fill the vacuum created by his cruelty "undo" that work.

NEW: The Trump admin told states it must immediately "undo" the work to provide full food stamp benefits, or face penalties. The feds sent this in a late-night memo, only adding to the chaos and confusion around SNAP. www.nytimes.com/2025/11/09/b...

Hey @nytimes.com— what happened to Fair and Balanced coverage?
It surprises me that Musk’s arrogant, autocratic, incompetent, mistake-prone, drug-addled, and deadly reign at DOGE is not mentioned. Nor does it discuss his Nazi salute, support for far-right political causes, and turning Twitter into a purveyor of lies and hate.
