Trump is claiming now that Canada is bending the knee because he got Trudeau to agree to a bunch of border-related policies. But, those same policies and funding were already planned months ago. Toddler Trump just needs to feel like he won. The art of dealing with Trump is letting him have your way.

You know things are getting weird when I'd rather have Doug Ford as the premier of Saskatchewan than Scott Moe. Yikes, Cupcake Scottie is absolutely lost on the tariff issue, deer in headlights, weak response, bowing to King Trump. Obviously Wab Kinew is preferable to either of course.

The funniest thing about Trudeau resigning is the Cons don't get to beat Trudeau in an election. He's going out 3-0 against Conservatives. I'm not worried about Parliament being suspended, the various bureaucracies actually run the country. We'll be fine.

I was blocked by @steveboots.bsky.social. Steve vague-posted about our interaction in a number of posts, and the story he told is not what happened. That's disappointing. We don't agree on a few key things, so I told him he should block me, no worries. All the best to Steve, he does good work.

Let's just call our posts on Bluesky "posts". We don't need cute made up words to describe things we already have real words for. Plus this approach has the added benefit of being more 'grown up' than the old garbage fire many of us were throwing tweets into.

Driving back to Saskatchewan from Calgary last night, hit a mini blizzard for a couple hours. Not bad, but two people were in the ditch, a big 4x4 truck, and a big SUV. Why is it always SUVs and trucks in the ditch? I think because they're overconfident and don't adjust to road conditions.
