Am on The Good Drugs after five days of constant agony and zero sleep. The cause? Acute tendonitis in the hip as a result of trying to help my 7yo learn to ride a bike.

The point at which I realised social media was a great and boundless evil was, on The Other Place years ago, celebrating the presence of tea in my life.

Very pleased by this: it's exactly what I hoped for with this endeavour. Less an education in toy robots and more an exploration into the psychology of collecting ridiculous things.
I have absolutly no interest in Transformers in any shape or form (of which they have many, I heard), but I immensely enjoy your newsletters, Alec. Fantastic pieces of writing and self-reflection, as funny as they are sincere.
