Ukraine gave up its nukes and got invaded. North Korea took advantage of American indecisiveness and is now invulnerable. Now, as Israel wages war on Iran, are we on the verge of a new nuclear age, with nukes becoming the only guarantee of sovereignty? www.wsj.com/world/nuclea...
Essay | Shifting World Order Threatens to Expand the Nuclear-Arms Club
Wars in Ukraine and Iran, and rising doubts about the reliability of the U.S., are making countries around the world wonder if having their own nukes is the key to survival.

It's been 6 months that the Ukrainian military has been occupying parts of Russia’s Kursk region — and it’s been 6 months that the 2nd greatest military power that issues threats to London and Washington on a daily basis in its war propaganda can't defeat a handful of Ukrainian airborne units.

There are many parallels between Elon's take over of Twitter and the federal government. Here is something to keep in mind when making the decision to resign. Elon didn't honor his promises Tweeps. We were promised a generous severance and we didn't even get 1/4 of what was promised.

Ukrainian soldier Taras Stolyar recently won Metallica's endorsement for playing Nothing Else Matters on the bandura, a traditional Ukrainian folk instrument.

Now have a look at who sings to him as he plays Shape of My Heart.

“Ukraine’s economy at large has reinvented itself to navigate wartime realities. It remains one-quarter smaller than in 2021. Yet for the first time since 2022, the start of the all-out invasion, it is healthier than its enemy’s in some key respects” www.economist.com/finance-and-...

Caltrain's switch from antiquated diesel-powered trains to Stadler's electric trains represents a massive technological leap.

However, today mid-day train 124 was almost 10 minutes late. Does anyone know why there are still so many delays after almost 3 months of service?

Checking in on the Kiel tracker. Europe has provided around 40% more in allocated aid to Ukraine than the US. If I were the EU I'd use a chunk of the peace facility to print this on mobile billboards driving in loops around the White House on Jan 20th. www.ifw-kiel.de/topics/war-a...

What if we make the robotaxis bigger and have them follow each other really closely, um let’s maybe couple them together, and also put them on steel wheels so they can carry a lot of people?
