Something just struck me.
America won WW2 through our incredible manufacturing ability. We out manufactured the Axis powers, that’s really it.
Now, we have outsourced almost all of our manufacturing to other countries. (China being a major beneficiary AND potential near peer enemy)

So my MAGA dad agrees with me that Trump is trying to overthrow our democracy and install himself as dictator. But he says there are so many checks and balances that he will never be able to. But that attitude will get some of what he wants across.

I’ve been putting a lot of thought into how to create a more informed electorate.
I thought we could create an informational literacy campaign that could help many of our US citizens understand the informational space better and how to spot Fake News across platforms.

It’s interesting making the jump from crypto twitter to bluesky. I had maintained i needed twitter for work, but maybe I can both work AND not be inundated with hate speech and conspiracy theories.
