Watching a Jane Goodall documentary. There’s a part where the chimps suffered a devastating polio outbreak in Gombe. The outbreak started in humans.

She and her team vaccinated the chimps because the vaccines save lives.

Unreal that our HHS Secretary is actively trying to convince us otherwise.

This is a must read/share thread that perfectly describes the cognitive dissonance that we've reached in this country when Politicians have conversations about "valid concerns about immigration" yet completely miss the root cause.

Thank you, @tanjabueltmann.net for pulling this all together.
When I was a teenager there was a bus direct from my hometown in Germany to London - we had a British army base, and this direct bus connection was one of the benefits of that. One summer I went on that bus to go volunteer in an old people's home in Southend-on-Sea. I had just turned 18 and was... 🧵

Kushal Sureka and wife Preety, moved to UK January 2020 to work as chartered accountants.

In past 5 years they paid £100,000 in tax (Farage & Tice used tax havens to avoid paying UK tax) contributing to society & have indefinite leave to stay

They’re more valuable than 2 tax dodging millionaires🤷🏼‍♂️

But Janice and Kerry are very comforted by the attention they’re getting from mainstream media outlets. And politicians seem to be telling them it’s ok to hate on immigrants too.
So, even though they’re on a ⚠️TOMMY ROBINSON⚠️ fascist march calling for MASS DEPORTATIONS, they’re lovely really.
