It's not the biggest issue in them but it really pissed me off as a kid that Harry receives generational wealth in the first book and then mooches off his best friend's very poor family without ever offering to help them out.

Turns out all it took was a fast/consistent linear deck that struggles against targeted interaction

I think it's really cool that this PT just happened and I'm pretty sure I know what was good this weekend very unsure what will be good in the next couple of weekends and am motivated to figure that out to play SCG Richmond in a monthish. Multiple tournaments of the same format is sick.

Internet I need a TV show to try and watch with my wife this evening. It should be something that will be fine to have on screen if the 4 year old comes out of his room.

I can't put into words the feeling of watching our government, a hive of evil antisocial filth, the absolute worst humanity has to offer, colliding with the best. Ordinary people trying to help each other, risking everything to stand up for what's plainly, unambiguously fair and right. It's unreal

Brennan really is the GOAT. If you're trying to decide what to watch next I would recommend either Starstruck Odyssey (my favorite) or Unsleeping City Season 1 (my second favorite, but I feel like it matches your tastes better).

For those who can, here are links to donate directly to local efforts on the ground resisting ICE's terrorizing of Minneapolis. Let me know what you donated to where, and I'll match it until I get a panicked call from my bank!

You're told to invest enough such that your nest egg will likely continue to increase once you start pulling from it which is simultaneously good individual financial advice and just a horrible misallocation of resources societally.

I feel like it's not talked about enough how much boomer's hoarding of wealth is an inevitable reaction to the privatization of everything. When your retirement is dependent on your personal investment accounts the only way to ensure you'll have money when you're 80 is to oversave.

The Wii U was such an unmemorable console that I just lost a slap bet to my brother because I didn't believe he could have our old one because I didn't think it existed.

Every time I make a doctor's appointment they message me 100 times telling me to fill out the patient form and then I get there the form takes 5 minutes and the doctor is 20 minutes late. Just leave me alone!

Also to be clear the rules system makes it incredibly easy to homebrew new stuff, being creative is just a lot of mental energy that I don't have most weeks due to family/work. Hoping people release modules above first level soon and I can run those.

I started running daggerheart for a group of new/veteran RPGs 6 months ago and they greatly preferred it. Unfortunately there just isn't that much content yet (specifically the selection of monsters above 1st level is incredibly thin) so we switched back to d&d to save on prep time on my end.
