First Past the Post can no longer deliver real mandates - only chaos. 60% of Brits want it scrapped.

Yet the Representation of the People Bill won’t even touch our voting system, which leaves millions unrepresented.

Tell Keir Starmer to change this.

A court has ruled that the government's authoritarian ban on Palestine Action was unlawful.

Time to stop criminalising the people protesting a genocide - and start ending the UK's complicity.

Starmer is less nasally since firing all his close team and speaking on the international stage. He just sounds so much better and more authoritative.

Being a respected leader here (as he already appears to be) can really go a long way for him politically.

Politics doesn't trump geography.

At the end of the day, each geographical region should be capable of standing on its own and defending itself because it's only the threat of their own region being attacked which truly galvanises its people and governments.

Ukraine urgently needs more military support to get through the winter and strengthen its position.

The Netherlands is delivering hundreds of millions in drones and ammunition.

At the UDCG we announce more air defence through the PURL initiative and multiple F-16 simulators.

In response to criticism of his comments about immigration, Jim Ratcliffe responded "I am sorry that my choice of language has offended some people" - but do Britons see such a form of words as a proper apology?

Is a proper apology: 36%
Is not a proper apology: 47%

It's astonishing that the public cannot get into perspective the difference between this and what came before (causing unnecessary deaths during a pandemic through ignoring scientists, whilst partying).

I mean you have to laugh about it. The comparison is absurd.

BBC's false equivalence in its reporting on both this and Renee Good's killing was shocking in its callousness and disregard for the facts, instead favouring what the known liars at the WH had to say. I'm surprised they've acknowledged it. Let's hope it does have an impact. Thank you for speaking up

Day after Alex Pretti killing I complained to BBC about presentation of White House statements and evidence as equivalent. Duty of balance doesn’t extend to complicity with clear lies, I said. BBC could and should report WH making false statements as a *fact of the story*. Today I got response …

The BBC were shocking on the Alex Pretti murder by ICE agents. There was a strange level of detachment from the facts (even when they clearly had them).

With so much clear video so early on there was NO excuse in continuing to give unchallenged credence to the White House lies.

In short, while pointing out that breaking news with conflicting perspectives involves publication of competing accounts, pending clarification, BBC accepts it was slow to adjust once it became clear that only one side was engaged in to truth. Key paras in long email here …

To the 27% - what on earth do you think Reform are going to make better? Can it possibly compensate for the damage they will no doubt do?

I don't believe you are all racist immigrant haters - at least not by nature. I also very much doubt you're on Bluesky, so won't see this anyway.

Why are the BBC giddily normalising this "biohacking family" where the parents have got their young kids into biohacking, like it's some sort of heartwarming story? It's really concerning!

Just going to encourage other "influencer" parents doing this for money and attention since it works.

This is the most cross-party consensus issue I think I have seen, with the Greens most likely to prevaricate on banning Bully XL dogs. Even Reformatives are in line with common sense on this one.
