My insurance paid for my COVID shot so I, in my late 30s, walked into a pharmacy and got the shot for free immediately. My parents, in their late 70s, have to wait until the end of the month and pay $100. Is this really a good policy #daniellesmith and #adrianalagrange?

For those keeping score, the premier:
🔵has already started picking her voters (through voter suppression laws).
🔴wants to choose who can run for office (only "serious" candidates qualify).
⚪️now wants to decide which MLAs deserve to be recalled (and which ones get to keep their seats).

Danielle Smith is a coward.
She refused to negotiate in good faith with teachers, refused to end this strike by offering a fair deal, and, worst of all, she violated Albertans’ Charter rights without even showing up for debate.

I hope that the Premier reconsiders her desire to invoke the “notwithstanding clause” in dealing with Teachers.
This very rarely used clause, stripping Canadians of civil rights, has no place in collective bargaining.
General strike would be a commensurate response.

Despite what the #ucp keeps claiming most of Alberta's population growth came from people who moved from other provinces. Yet the government who ran a campaign called "Alberta is calling" now seems completely unprepared that these new people might have kids that need to go to school.

Good to see my MLA #rebeccaschulz in the legislature voting to steamroll over the constitutional rights of teachers because the government doesn't want to actually negotiate. Fun fact, there are 5 communities in Rebecca's riding that don't have an elementary school.

What's the hurry?
In just 6 years, the UCP has been responsible for nearly half of all time allocation motions in Alberta history.
They're promising to do it again today, this time ramming through a bill that removes Charter rights in a matter of hours.

Danielle Smith must support #schools.
New Democrats oppose any back-to-work legislation that doesn't meet the call for more EAs & lower class sizes.
