Recently I was delighted to find this statue in Ōsaka. It’s sort of a #caturday pic!

I just love governments — of any stripe — that DO stuff instead of talking, tweeting, and posturing about it.

We’ve always been good neighbours, but we know how to stand up against threats to our sovereignty, our economy and our jobs.

Today was my last day of work as a university president! Looking forward to time for research, family, friends, hiking, photography… and someday more cats. One of my favourite farewell gifts: sticky notes. Apparently people noticed my habit of writing my speaking notes for a speech on a sticky note.

🚨 Rebel News lost its court battle for official journalism status.

The judge found only 10 of 423 posts met the standard for real news.

The CRA ruled most were opinion, rewrites, or activist fundraising—not journalism.
The ruling makes one thing clear: propaganda isn’t journalism. That's a win!

Premier Smith keeps reinserting Western separatism into the headlines by stating she’s not for it. At the same time she’s lowering the threshold to put it to a vote.

That’s, um, “disingenuous,” would be one word for it.

Alberta's two big-city mayors say a separation referendum would be "devastating" to their local economies and is a needless distraction.
