Book cover for Go-Man: Champion of Earth by Hamish Steele which I got for my son in Neill Cameron’s recommendation but we’re also reading in the #LetsTalkGraphicNovels book group as our first read of the new year. Book cover for Hari Kumar: Ultimate Superstar by Rashmi Sirdeshpande and Mamta Singh which I’m really looking forward to reading when it comes out later in the year. Book cover for The Dad Trap by Ian Eagleton which I managed to pick up on my Boxing Day bookshop trip and was my last read of 2025. It deals so sensitively and authentically with a number of issues, including divorce, neurodivergence, homophobia, friendship and mental health struggles whilst still managing to be hilarious and super-readable. Great stuff. Book cover for Donut Squad: Make a Mess by Neill Cameron. My pre-order for this arrived the other day but was immediately stolen by my youngest. I very much look forward reading it when I can steal it back!

Finished reading Running my Own Race by @eyesab2.bsky.social with my Y5/6 class last week. They absolutely loved it, and it gave us lots of chances to talk about issues relevant to their own lives. Highly recommended.
