Australians should have access to the National Climate Risk Assessment.

“While the Government knows what’s in the report, the insurance companies and the fossil fuel companies know because of their own analysis, Australian voters continue to live in the dark.”

National Sorry Day

May 26, 2025

Each year marks the anniversary of the formal apology made in 2008 by the government and the Parliament of Australia to Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people – in particular to the Stolen Generations.

Met my first Australian today who got yoinked by US immigration for no good reason. Chucked in a plexiglass cell for the crime of transiting via LAX from Canada. No reason given and allowed to carry on back to Melbourne. She said “never again”, rightly so.

Native forest logging in NSW just posted a $15 mil loss in 6 months. It’s environmentally destructive & economically broken.

Time to stop propping it up with public money & invest in communities to transition to sustainable industries of the future.

The US can stop you at the border or anywhere, put you in immigration jail indefinitely, separate you from or deport your children & not tell you where they are. It says it won't follow legal orders. Australian consulates are powerless. Too dangerous for family holidays, sports, conferences etc.
