Senior government figures very surprised that four Regional Independent TDs told Verona Murphy that they would only vote for the coalition on a “case by case basis.” That was not the agreed understanding apparently.

Not sure Michael Lowry benefits from continuing to talk about the Moriarty Tribunal. If i were him, I'd stay quiet and hope the Opposition find something else to talk about. This is among my favourite lines.

Michael Lowry with a terrible interview on RTÉ’s SixOne, a slippery snake as per.
Claims it’s not his decision to receive speaking time in the Dáil. When asked would he not just give it up then to resolve the issue, he said that wasn’t his decision either 🙄

Government have badly misjudged this. The tone from Martin and Harris shows that they don't understand. They either reign in the Independents or cut them loose. There is no third option. #ge24 #spéirgorm
