assuming they faceplant in the next 2 weeks, you'd hope that it would be informative to Bulls management to know if you're a Tre Jones away from competitive, you're not really competitive

problem is matching salary is Thybulle, who is bad and hurt. Would AK sacrifice wins, and a better shot at play-in glory, in trading away Coby, Ayo, or Tre Jones for mere 'assets'?

trade a guard to the Blazers to help them make the playoffs and the Bulls get their pick. Heck, get the Blazers to reduce protections to top-4.

that steal of a contract is the perfect crime, because nobody notices
If my quick math is correct, Tre Jones is shooting almost 80% (32/41) on 2-point shots since his dud against the Pistons a few weeks ago. He’s a 6-foot guard. This guy is one of the biggest steals in the NBA.

Bottom three teams in here Pelicans, Pacers, Nets have 32 wins combined. Six of those wins are against the Bulls.
If the Bulls went 5-1 in those games, they're 26-17 and the season feels a lot different. Instead: still as perfectly mid as ever.
