I’ll never forget reading my first Insider at a Barnes and Noble in the mid-90s. I couldn’t believe it existed and I poured over many issues in the years to follow.

Shots, acting, edits, pacing, soundtrack are all unbelievable.

It’s GARGANTUAN. Goes deep on all the personal stories of his creators that made him the icon he is.
(If Darth Vader is trending for an ugly reason, why not make some good out of it?)

It’s happening right now on the one that I’m listening to atm and it’s supremely annoying.
Anyone can talk about Star Wars, so it’s sorta gatekeepy of me, I know, but…

But that look has been done to death in a million very corny, low quality designs. Looks generic here.
Hopefully the film can better capture that spirt they're going for with the poster.

Not really about Raiders (though surely nodding to it), but I still get a little burst of joy every time she sings the phrase "ark of the covenant."

(Seems like that’s always how it goes, right?)
But the Emmys made this cathartic—even if Nate Bargatze’s ticking clock upstaged everything.

As far as Star Wars goes, one thing that struck me in Anthony’s piece is the idea that Del Toro would rather not make a movie than have to make it with compromises. I would have *loved* seeing his Jabba film, but makes sense that it didn’t ultimately work out.
Oscar Isaac pieces together Jacob Elordi’s undead being in an operatic monster movie steeped in faith, fear and fatherhood.
